Boarding FAQ.

Who is boarding available to?
Boarding is available to established Bark & Purr grooming families — pets who have visited us for grooming at least once. This ensures your pet already knows and trusts our team before an overnight stay.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your pet's food (portioned in labeled bags), any medications with written instructions, a comfort item from home (blanket or toy), and vaccination records. We provide bedding, bowls, and love.
What vaccines are required for boarding?
Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough) are both required for boarding — both must be current. If your Bordetella is administered by nasal spray, it takes 3–5 days to be effective, so plan accordingly.
Will I get updates while my pet is boarding?
Yes — we send photo updates during overnight stays so you know your pet is settled and happy. You can also text us to check in anytime during business hours.
Do you board cats?
Please contact us directly to discuss cat boarding — we handle cat stays on a case-by-case basis depending on your cat's temperament and our current capacity. Call or text 972-727-1688.
